Being endorsed by companies such as ADAMS Musical Instruments, Zultan Cymbals, and Meinl Percussion, Kai continuously searches for further innovations in percussion instruments, new sounds, and their possibilities.

In his new CD release Neotango Episodes, Kai places his instrument in an innovative chamber music combination with percussion, bandoneon and piano.

Seeing explicit potential for percussion instruments in the rhythmic structure and vivid characters of the Tango Nuevo, Kai founded a creative continuation of the Genre while valuing the music’s rules and norms.
